The chair is the only piece of furniture in the building that every person touches for eight hours.
Why it is quoted on its own
Task seating is specified separately from the desks so it is not the line that absorbs a budget cut. A cheaper surface is a finish decision. A cheaper chair is a decision about people.

Specification
What gets specified
Seating is quoted by range and by count, with the adjustment set that the floor will genuinely use rather than the longest available list.
- Task
- Mesh or upholstered back, with the adjustment range chosen against who sits in it all day.
- Meeting
- Counted to the table and checked for swept clearance against the walls behind.
- Executive
- Leather or textile, specified to the room and the desk rather than as a standalone piece.
- Occasional
- Stools, side chairs and lounge seating carried on the same finish schedule.
- Adjustment
- Seat height, depth, arms and lumbar selected as a set, so the floor is trained on one chair.
- Warranty
- Manufacturer terms confirmed in writing at order, with replacement parts handled by us.
